The President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Dharam Gokhool, launched, yesterday at the City Council of Port Louis, the book entitled 'Seeds of Tomorrow', authored by Ms Ruqayah Khayrattee. The book focuses on family life, emotional well-being and responsible parenting.

To this end, he stressed the importance of stronger family values and emotional support to help build a better future for young people.

He encouraged public institutions, the civil society and religious leaders to work together to strengthen family counselling and support services.

For her part, Mrs Ghoorah emphasised the importance of positive parenting and safe family environments, while Ms Khayrattee observed that the book aims to guide young people on family relationships, resilience and responsible parenthood.
