In view of the security situation in the country, and in line with the closure measures announced by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Welfare informs the public that *all Child Day Care Centres in Mauritius will be closed on Tuesday 13 October 2026*.

A further communiqué will be issued regarding the reopening of these centres, depending on how the situation evolves.
