Mauritius and Central African Republic strengthen Financial Services Cooperation

A ministerial delegation from the Central African Republic, comprising the Minister of Finance and Budget, Mr Hervé Ndoba, and the Minister of Lands and Forestry Economy, Mr Gervais Mbata, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Financial Services and Economic Planning, Dr Jyoti Jeetun, on 10 September 2026 in Ebene.

In a statement, Minister Ndoba indicated that the delegation is currently in Mauritius for working sessions. He expressed the appreciation of the Central African Republic Government for Mauritius’ support and assistance in the field of financial services. He highlighted the importance of Mauritius as a role model, noting its well-established and efficient financial platform that complies with international standards and meets the requirements of a modern financial centre.

Minister Ndoba also expressed the wish to further strengthen collaboration with the Mauritian Government in the financial services sector. He stressed that the Central African Republic would welcome Mauritius’ support and expertise in developing and strengthening its own financial services sector.
