Dr Gungapersad also called for stronger collaboration between training institutions and the private sector to ensure that programmes remain aligned with industry needs. He further emphasised the importance of adapting training to technological developments, including advances in artificial intelligence.

For his part, Mr Servansingh highlighted the role of TVET in enhancing employability and fostering lifelong learning.

Mr Jeewoolall commended the graduates for their dedication and reaffirmed the MITD’s commitment to equipping trainees with relevant skills and competencies that meet labour market requirements.
