GIS \u2013 09 January 2023:<\/b>\u00a0The High Commissioner of Pakistan to the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Muhammad Arshad Jan Pathan, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping, Mr Sudheer Maudhoo, today in Port Louis.<\/p>

In a statement, the High Commissioner said that the meeting was very cordial and discussions focused on various areas of cooperation and maritime projects, in particular, developing and diversifying aquaculture and providing training.<\/p>

Mr Jan Pathan also extended an invitation to Minister Maudhoo for the latter to participate in the first Pakistan International Maritime Export Conference to be held from 10 to 12 February 2023 in Karachi. The High Commissioner expressed hope that the visit will open new avenues of cooperation to tap in the potential of the blue economy and further consolidate ties between the two countries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
